We've Packed It All In...
Packing at the Paramount

Back into our suitcases that is. We're both excited and fed up with the prospect of having to pack and move yet again! And with the same things we have been packing and unpacking since May. Our car and all our household effects from the UK will be delivered to us at our new apartment in Cole Valley tomorrow morning. Joy of Joys!!!
On the 2nd and 3rd of May, we packed up our whole house in London, filled a few cases with some personal belongings and went to stay in a hotel by Heathrow Airport. Got up in the morning and packed our stuff. We landed in San Francisco on the 5th where we stayed at the St. Regis Hotel for a night. Got up in the morning and packed our stuff. We have been at The Paramount ever since living out tof our suitcases and afraid to shop as it would have meant more to carry and also it would have meant we were duplication possesions we already have on their way to us. So we got up this morning and packed our stuff.
We hailed a taxi to take us to our new apartment where we dropped everything into the walk in closet in what will be our new and PERMANENT bedroom at last. It was quite strange to see that everything we currently possess in America fits in the closet with room to spare! You can see what i mean in this video as I pan around the closet then look out into our bedroom. We head back to the Paramount and get some spare keys cut and pick up the papers and a shower curtain on the way.
Antonella and I head up to the roof to have one last look over the city from this vantage point before we spend our last night here. We will be leaving with just our hand luggage in the morning so I'd better pack that now as I also need to do some more work t
onight too.
